Many authorities may be fortunate enough to have a dedicated International Links Coordinator who will provide support for schools and liaise with them and the British Council on promoting internationalism and the range of opportunities available. If this is not the case, the British Council has a Regional Professional Development Network in place that that exist in 10 regions right across England who can provide local support. Find out more.
The Global Gateway has a whole zone dedicated to local authority staff in helping them get schools more involved in the international dimension.
