School Partnerships

The following two studies by Cambridge Education look at the socio-economic profiles of schools participating in Comenius partnerships from 2008-2010.

'Monitoring Participation: a Choice of Indicators'
This study looks at the extent to which the profile of Comenius schools is representative of the socio-economic profile of English schools as a whole. It compares ways of evaluating the effectiveness of the Comenius programme's strategies for widening participation.

This study compares the socio-economic profile of the Comenius programme for each UK nation and each English region with the corresponding national and regional profiles in order to establish whether the programme is attractive to schools from all socio-economic backgrounds.
