The British Council, in Hungary is committed to providing organisations with ready-made and customised learning programmes to improve personal performance and communication skills. We deliver specialist business skills training to multinational corporations, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), government ministries, embassies and NGOs in Hungary.

Highly-qualified trainers and an interactive methodology ensure that the valuable lessons learned on our courses can be quickly implemented back at work.

As an internationally recognised cultural and educational organisation with 80 teaching centres worldwide and more than 75 years’ teaching experience, we provide learning programmes that can contribute to a competitive corporate culture in Europe and the world. Our flexible learning solutions, unique customised courses, and cuttingedge interactive training make the learning programmes inspiring and results-driven. We conduct the training at your premises on dates and times that are convenient for you.

To meet various business needs we offer three streams of corporate training: Soft Skills Workshops, Business Communication Courses, and fully Customised Business English Courses

Soft Skills Workshops

We offer over 20 soft skills courses in three areas: Interpersonal Communication, Written Communication and Skills for Academic Study. Among others, we provide workshops like Effective Business Reports, Proposals That Work and Preparation for IELTS. See the detailed list of our workshops.

Business Communication Courses

These courses have been specially designed to help business people in Hungary communicate more effectively in the workplace. We offer three types of business communication training: English for Specific Purposes, Business Communication Skills and General Business English. We have developed training courses for a range of industries including, English for IT Professionals, Legal English, Call Centre English, English for Banking & Finance Professionals and English for Hotel & Hospitality Staff.

Customised Business English Courses

We also provide a fully-customised training solution where the courses are designed to meet your organisation’s particular needs. In this case, our experienced course developers conduct a comprehensive needs analysis before the course starts to build up a detailed picture of how the participants use English at work - and to pinpoint the skills and functional language they need. For every course we create fully customised course syllabi and learning aims documents and, during the course, reports are provided on the participants’ progress.

		How we work with you

Having contacted us by e-mail or telephone contact, we visit you in order to establish your needs and what the course or workshop could be. We then send our trainers to conduct testing at your premises, free of charge,* and send you a report on the results within two days (this step does not apply to soft skills courses). We then produce a proposal containing the course outline, suggested course timings and costing. We can start the training programme right after we have signed the contract.

*If you decide to do at least one course with us from the proposal.

		For reference

	The British Council has international corporate training experience in many countries, including the Czech Republic, Romania, Spain, Taiwan, Egypt, Singapore and Malaysia and has run corporate courses for clients like Siemens, Shell, Vodafone, Banque Misr, HSBC, Etisalat and Ministries in many countries. In Hungary, we have worked with many clients, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
