Five o'clock tea conversation club

The 5 O’Clock Tea Conversation Club is a great opportunity to chat to other students in a relaxed atmosphere, pick up new vocabulary, grammar and ideas through conversation, improve fluency and listening skills and, of course, make new friends. All participants receive activity sheets to take away with them. The club is offered for adults (18+).

The club is held every Wednesday afternoon from 17.00 to 18.00 in Libra Café. The topics are set by the members' suggestions (see on the left). You can continuously register for a membership card for all ten meetings or for batches of five or three.

Please note that this event can only be attended by students above the age of 16. Students aged 16 or 17 must get a parental permission to join our courses/clubs. The parental consent form can be downloaded from HERE.

PRICE (a cup of tea per meeting is included)

5 meetings = 5,000 Ft
3 meetings = 3,000 Ft

Please note that the group size will be limited.

CLUB RULES

Unlike Fight Club ©, feel free to talk to your friends about the 5 O’clock tea club.
You will get most out of this conversation club if you speak as much as possible, of course, in English.
Speak bravely – there are no bad answers or mistakes here!
Remember conversation is two-sided, so please be active, but let others speak too.
Help each other as much as possible.
We don't define separate levels so please try to find another member who best fits your level of English.
Please always keep the time given for the activities.
If you have a question that your peers cannot answer, write it on a post-it and talk to the trainer when you get the opportunity.
Continue speaking to your new friends on Facebook at Speakers’ Corner.
Enjoy your time at the Five O’clock Tea!
