How can I apply for the exam?
You can apply for the exam in person or via e-mail at your chosen exam centre. The application form can be downloaded from here.
How can I pay the exam fee?
You can pay the exam fee in cash at your chosen test centre, or you can transfer the money to the bank account number provided by your centre.
Can I register at the British Council?
The British Council has moved premises and the public customer service has been transfered to our partner istitutions in Budapest. Candidates are welcome to discuss issues and ask for assistance at these centers. The applications for the accredited exams are also dealt with at these centres.
Does the British Council have language courses?

Yes, we provide Cambridge ESOL preparation courses that will give you the increased knowledge, fluency and confidence required to pass your exam.

Our courses prepare you for the following exams: FCE, CAE and CPE.

Where can I find exam preparation materials?
The latest exam preparation materials can be found on the Cambridge University Press (CUP) website. Information about ordering, course books, preparation materials, their Hungarian distributors as well as current prices can be found there.
When do I get confirmation about my registration?
Your registration is complete, after submitting your registration form and paying the exam fee to your exam centre. After this your centre will send you a "successful registration" note.
When do I get information about my exam?
You will receive the following information two weeks before the exam: The Statement of Entry document, the exact time and date and the location of the exam, and the Notice to Candudates.
