The British Council Examinations Services organises examinations for a range of UK professional bodies, educational institutions and associations throughout the year.

Entrance Examinations

We provide examination facilities for students who wish to enter UK schools or colleges.

Academic Examinations for UK Universities
Students of British universities can sit their examinations at the British Council during the summer if necessary.  Students, therefore, do not need to return to the UK during the summer for their examinations.

Group Examinations
We are able to deal with groups of all sizes ranging from individuals to large sessions of up to 500 candidates.  We can also offer great flexibility in the organisation of examination dates and venues.

Professional Examinations

We arrange both individual and group examinations for various professional bodies in the UK.

Special Needs

We aim to do our best to cater for candidates with special needs.  We will do all we can to enable candidates to understand test questions and ways of giving answers.  All candidates, irrespective of their disability, will be assessed fairly and objectively.

Candidates who require special arrangements are asked to contact us before they submit their application.  Relevant supporting materials such as medical certificates should be submitted during registration.
