The UK has produced many of the most successful international rock musicians over the last half century. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Elton John, Oasis, Coldplay, Adele… the list is endless. Alongside have been the photographers capturing images of these icons over the years; their work has become iconic in their own right. British Council is proud to present an exhibition of a collection of these images from Rockarchive, founded in 1998 by photographer Jill Furmanovsky, as part of the UK Now Festival programme.

A photography workshop hosted by Furmanovsky and other related activities will also take place in November.
