Early Years Education Conference 2013

The provision of high quality education in the very early stages of a child’s holistic development is of paramount importance. In order to provide children with opportunities to achieve their full potential, they need appropriate and effective stimuli in their early years to support their cognitive, linguistic and social development.

The Early Years Education Conference 2013 is jointly organised by the British Council Hong Kong and the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong.  Keynote speakers include Professor Kathy Sylva and Dr. Karen Kelly, both experts in early childhood education programmes. The British Council Hong Kong offers workshops for English teachers in local schools that focus on integrating iPads into the curriculum. Our workshops are highly practical and demonstrate a range of ways iPads can be used in class to develop learners' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills through communicative and creative activities. iPads are famously easy to use and our workshops will get you up and running and thinking about how to get the most out of them in your lessons and help raise your leaners English language skills.
