	CELTYL Application procedure

Applicants must:

			be at least 20 years old at the start of the course
			have a standard of education which would allow entry to Higher Education in their country
			have an awareness of language and a competence in English, both written and spoken, that enables them to follow the course.

Applications will be acknowledged by letter. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview. If you are invited for an interview you will be asked to look at a short task beforehand and to do a written task afterwards. The interview is to help ensure the candidates have the potential to:

			develop the necessary skills to become effective teachers
			successfully complete the written assignments and the assessment of practice teaching.

Applicants will be selected after interview.
