Summer Intensive Programme for Adults

We are offering a range of intensive courses in this summer to help you develop specific aspects of English.

Focus on Grammar

Understanding how grammar affects meaning, and how native speakers choose the grammar they use, rather than just learning grammar rules,  will help you to get your message across clearly and precisely.

Focus on Listening and Speaking

Be able to communicate more effectively in a variety of situations by listening for general understanding and key points, and focusing on fluency and accuracy in speaking.

Focus on Writing

Develop skills for planning, organising, writing and editing in a business or academic context.  Practise writing clearly and accurately in an appropriate style.

Focus on Workplace English

Develop your grammar and vocabulary, and practise the skills of writing, speaking, reading and listening in a business-related context.

Focus on Exam Preparation

Familiarisation with the exam format, as well as development of skills and strategies to approach exam tasks, and exam practice, will enable you to take your exams with confidence.

You will also have free access to our self-study centre on the 3rd floor of our Admiralty centre. It contains a variety of materials, including CD-ROMs, videos, audiotapes and books.
