We talked about the different patterns on Easter egg templates, and students could choose a plain one if they wanted their own design. The only prerequisite was for them to colour it properly. My assistant drew the tree trunk before class and the students took turns to colour it in after they were done with their eggs. I did the wordings in class and again the students took turns to colour them in.
It was a very enjoyable lesson and the beautiful end-product was definitely a group effort. The children all felt they were contributing and everyone coloured their eggs beautifully.
