Course Programme

Our aim is to help you to activate and extend your knowledge of English and develop your productive skills in speaking and writing, as well as your receptive skills in listening and reading. Your teacher will use modern communicative methodologies that require your active participation in class.

Materials

The course book is In Company Elementary (Macmillan). Your teacher will select the most relevant material from the book and complement it with other sources to make the lessons interesting and stimulating.

The course also includes Macmillan English Campus, an online learning package with 20 hours of interactive activities. The exercises in Macmillan English Campus relate directly to the content of your course book. There is one syllabus item in Macmillan English Campus for each unit in the course book.

You can use Macmillan English Campus at home, in the office or in our Multimedia Study Centre (MMSC) on the 3rd floor of our centre in Admiralty. The MMSC also contains a wide variety of materials, including CD-ROMs, videos, audiotapes and books. You can talk to a teacher about your learning at a consultation session.

See here for more information about how the lessons and online package work together.
