SKILLS FOCUS COURSES
Focus your study on a particular area

These shorter courses at levels four to eight help you prepare for life in an English-speaking world. You will apply the new skills, grammar and vocabulary you have learnt in General English to real-world situations. Activities based around the themes of Social, Travel, Work and Study will really help you feel sure of the English you are using in everyday life.

You will benchmark the skills you have learnt through assessment tasks based on the course objectives. For a fee you can register with the Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) to certify your assessments with the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).

Placement test and counselling
To register for your first British Council adult course you will take a placement test to assess your current level of English. A course counsellor will then help you select the course most suited to your needs and English level.
