Launch date of the 2009-2010 Scholarships for Excellence scheme.  

Application forms available at the website of British Council and Hong Kong universities. Your applications will be processed as soon as all requested documents are submitted.

20 April 2009

Deadline for applications.  Completed application forms with supporting documents should be returned to Scholarships & Educational Exchanges Officer, Scholarships for Excellence, British Council, 3 Supreme Court Rd, Admiralty, Hong Kong, by this date.

4 May 2009

Short-listed candidates will be notified in writing by this date.

Early June 2009

Video conferencing interviews will take place on the first and second week of June. Interview results will be notified after the interviews as soon as possible. Successful candidates must then return a Confirmation of Acceptance form.

31 July 2009

Official award letter will be issued to successful candidates. Scholarships will not be awarded to candidates who have not had a university place confirmed by this date.

September 2009

Welcome Reception for UK Students in Hong Kong.  All UK students who are currently studying in Hong Kong are welcome to join the reception.

May 2010

Farewell reception for awardees of Scholarships for Excellence.
