Professional Development Seminar – Improving Practice in Managing Student Diversity

23 February 2006

The seminar attracted over a hundred education practitioners, including colleagues from the Education and Manpower Bureau and the Hong Kong Institute of Education, head teachers and teachers from local and international schools.  We were very honoured to have Dr Seamus Hegarty, Chair of the International Association for the Evaluation of Education Achievement as the speaker.  The seminar focused on the knowledge and skills base of teachers in handling diversity and students with special education needs.

The event was jointly organised with the Education and Manpower Bureau and co-sponsored by the Hong Kong Institute of Education.
