About 200 students took part in Hong Kong's first Paralympic School Day held in early July at Ma On Shan Sports Ground.
The event was led by the British Council's Young Advocates and co-organised by the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and the Sports Association for the Physically Disabled. It was funded by the Home Affairs Bureau.

The event, part of the British Council's Young Advocates Programme, promoted the Paralympic spirit - the indomitable spirit of athletes with disabilities to compete to win, overcoming long odds. It demonstrates the potential of sport in benefiting a diverse range of people in the community and promote social inclusiveness around the world.
