Our work in science aims to foster partnerships between individuals and institutions in the UK and Hong Kong to share the benefits of science and create a wider public awareness of science and technology.

Darwin Now

Our Darwin Now programme has now finished. However, the educational material that was commissioned under the programme is available to download from our website. The topics are wide and varied covering a range of disciplines and age groups. The student-teacher activities have been translated in several languages.

Science Alive

Sponsored by the Croucher Foundation and jointly organised by the British Council Hong Kong, Hong Kong Science Museum and the Education Bureau. The aim of the Science Alive programme is to promote and share creative approaches in science education, both in learning and teaching.

Climate Cool

Climate Cool is part of the British Council’s global International Climate Champions (ICC) project. It offers innovative approaches to deepen the understanding of the climate change issue whilst suggesting local ways to tackle it. The ICC project has three interlinked strands, Education, Media and Society. The British Council Hong Kong is pursuing activities under the Education strand.
