The legacy of the London Olympics lives on, in the form of science. Just how does Olympic champion Usain Bolt run 100m in a superhuman 9.63 seconds? Through fun, hands-on demonstrations, Science Junkie will actively involve the public to examine the physiology and sports engineering that make an Olympic and Paralympic athlete a champion.

Conducted in English (with Cantonese interpretation provided by Theatre Noir)

Suitable for all students, families and the general public. Reservation is not required.

Facilitators: Huw James and Lucy Thorne (Science Junkie, UK)

The United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.
A registered charity: 209131 (England and Wales) SC037733 (Scotland)
