Power Plant at the 39th Hong Kong Arts Festival

The British Council is proud to continue our partnership with the Hong Kong Arts Festival to bring a magical light and sound installation Power Plant to Kowloon Walled City Park, by a team of cutting-edge UK artists. After dark, the historical garden will be transformed by strange illuminations and exotic art installations, giving the visitors a powerful visual and auditory experience. Under the British Council PLUS Series, we are also supporting Power Plant and Kowloon Walled City Park Tour; Backstage Tour and Talk by Birmingham Royal Ballet.

This is an outdoor event. Patrons are advised to wear comfortable shoes as the event involves walking. The show lasts approximately 1 hour (no interval).

Power Plant – Behind the Scene Tour (FULL ON 19 FEB)

A hidden gem with long and unusual history, the Kowloon Walled City Park plays host to a unique light and sonic wonderland called Power Plant, where strange illuminations light up the night and marvel as the garden is transformed by magical sounds and exotic art installations. In this tour you will learn about what is installation art and why this park was chosen for this project.
