British Council Hong Kong
Judge and Scales of Justice
What's on this month
Law and Governance
The British Council creates opportunities for individuals in Hong Kong who are interested in finding out more about the system of government in the UK. We provide information and advice for students who undertake training in the law in the UK and we also offer a postgraduate distance learning course in the law. Through a regular programme of conferences, lectures and workshops, the British Council encourages discussion of issues relating to the law and other subjects of relevance to Hong Kong.
Social Innovation
How government, businesses, markets and the civil society attempt to solve pressing social challenges sprung out of urban growth, traffic congestion, aging population, community development, chronic disease, unemployment and more.
 Access to Justice
A conference in which law experts from the UK and Hong Kong came together to discuss various aspects of the legal system.
Law Month 2003
Law summer school, continuing professional development seminars and international exchange programmes for legal professionals and professionals-to-be.
