Tim Crouch - England, My Arm, An Oak Tree
Hong Kong Arts Festival 2009

In February 2009, the British Council will support the engagement of News From Nowhere Production with the Hong Kong Arts Festival, and bring Tim Crouch's England, My Arm and An Oak Tree to Hong Kong.

Tim Crouch, one of the UK’s most thought-provoking writers/performers, and winner of a New York OBIE, the Prix Italia and a Fringe First from Edinburgh, presents three critically acclaimed works that explore the nature of theatrical experience. Crouch toys with the conventions of theatre to demonstrate something that happens every night in theatres all over the world: the transformation of an actor into a character and the audience's total belief in that transformation. Invited to perform around the globe, from Moscow to Rio, Crouch has recently appeared at London's Tate Modern Gallery and the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
