The British Council is proud to host a talk by the acclaimed artistic director Lloyd Newson of the UK’s DV8 Physical Theatre. Lloyd will talk about the process of translating his stage works to screen. He will illustrate the talk with video clips from all four of the DV8 award-winning films including his screen adaptation of the Emmy-award-winning film Enter Achilles.

Alongside with the talk, DV8 Physical Theatre is bringing to Hong Kong their latest work, Can We Talk About This?, which is about freedom of speech, censorship and offence. Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, this documentary-style dance-theatre production will use real-life interviews and archive footage.
