Welcome to British Council Connect Youth

British Council Connect Youth is the UK's National Agency for the Youth in Action Programme. Along with the European Commission, our aim is to help young people to discover Europe. On our site you will find information about Youth Exchanges, Youth Initiatives and Youth Democracy Projects; European Voluntary Service, Youth in the World and Youth Support Systems

We also offer Youth Programmes in cooperation with partner ministries overseas, youth NGOs, networks and international partners. On this site, you will find information about the Causeway Programme (a British–Irish Youth Exchange scheme) and the Debate to Action Programme which has so far involved young people in Africa and the UK taking active control in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals.
