The National Youth Agency

The National Youth Agency aims to advance youth work to promote young people's personal and social development, and their voice, influence and place in society.

Equality and Human Rights
The Equality and Human Rights Commission champions equality and human rights for all, working to eliminate discrimination, reduce inequality, protect human rights and to build good relations, ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to participate in society.
Age

Both young and older workers may find themselves vulnerable to age discrimination in the workplace. They may find they face obstacles to recruitment and being passed over for promotion as a result of their age.

Businesses are increasingly coming to recognise the value of employing a diverse age range. However, there remains a great deal of stereotyping and prejudice to be overcome before age discrimination is properly addressed within the workforce.
