Since 1934 the British Council has reached millions of people around the world through a wide range of programmes, initiatives and activities: are you one of them?

If so, we would love to feature your experience as part of our 75th Anniversary series of ‘First Hand’ stories, which will be published online and in print as part of our anniversary celebrations in 2009.

Our 75th anniversary presents a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of cultural relations: building trust between people of different cultures through the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
