The Rhodesian African Training Programme

In 1975, the Ministry of Overseas Development increased the number of scholarships it offered to Rhodesian Africans to study in the UK, and the British Council created the Rhodesian African Training Department to manage the programme.

After independence, the programme was amalgamated with the Technical Cooperation Training Programme and further awards needed the Zimbabwe government's approval.
