Our aim is to help you keep up to date with global ELT news and local events organised by the British Council. Find links to useful websites and articles, online teaching resources, and details of events and training opportunities in Greece.

 Moodle what?
Moodle is a free, open source software package that helps you create and manage online courses. It offers a chat room, wiki, forum, blog, quiz and other collaborative tools to make learning a truly interactive activity. Check out the Moodle entry in Wikipedia and get in the Moodle!

 SEN Teacher printables

SEN Teacher offers free teaching resources for teachers of students with special needs and learning disabilities. Word cards, worksheets, literacy dice, literacy dominoes, connective tiles, alphabet cards, feelings bubbles and lots more printables which can be adapted for various types of learners.
 Visuwords
If you are a visual learner and love words, you'll enjoy exploring Visuwords. It's an online graphical dictionary which gives you word meanings and associations. It looks like a colourful neural net and it's a bit like a jigsaw - hover over the nodes and double-click them for more associations. Cool!
