INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF CHEMISTRY

To mark the International Year of Chemistry, we invite you to a unique series of events for all ages which aim to:

increase public appreciation of chemistry as a means of meeting human needs
increase young people's interest in chemistry
promote the creative future of chemistry
celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Marie Skłodowska Curie and the establishment of the International Association of Chemical Communities, IACS.

INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF CHEMISTRY
The events being are organised in partnership with the National Hellenic Research Foundation and its two Institutes (the Theoretical and Physical Chemistry Institute and the Institute of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry) in collaboration with the Postgraduate Programme ΔιΧηΝΕΤ, the Greek Physics Association, CAID and the Museum of the Hellenic Nobel Collection.

Join us at a spectacular experiment and talk by Peter Wothers. Simultaneous translation will be provided and admission is free. Registration required.
