THE SCIENCE OF ECOLOGY

Don't miss another great science performance by our favourite group of young scientists SciCo, this time on the topic of The Science of Ecology.

At their performances, SciCo, all finalists in our FameLab Competition, which aims to discover new talent in the field of science communication and has been running in Greece for three consecutive years, present a range of scientific issues on stage, focussing on a different main theme each time.

Using drama as a means of communication, SciCo offer truly unique and original shows: they familiarise audiences with hard science while at the same time managing to be entertaining, inspiring and thought-provoking.

Their new science show, The Science of Ecology, is suitable for a broad audience regardless of age and scientific background. SciCo will attempt to shed light on various aspects of the term 'ecology' – covering everything from the food chain and the water cycle to the greenhouse effect, recycling and renewable sources of energy – through a series of short presentations, featuring fast and clever dialogues with a healthy dose of humour and sensitivity.

SciCo have written the show themselves and it is open to the public following reservation. The Science of Ecology is being presented in collaboration with the 5th Ecolife Fair.
