These are just a few of the questions journalist and writer Michael Hanlon raises in a uniquely pleasant and entertaining style in his latest book Ten Questions Science Can’t Answer (yet). They are the questions that a bright young person might well ask a teacher, only to be told ‘you’d better focus on your coursework!’

However, these questions – ‘the great mysteries’ – are the main challenges modern science faces in its effort to provide a comprehensive explanation of our world.

Michael Hanlon is one of Britain’s most successful science writers. He is Science Editor of the Daily Mail and his articles have been published in various magazines including The Spectator. He has also appeared on numerous TV and radio science talk shows.

Ten Questions Science Can’t Answer (yet) has recently been published in Greek by AVGO Publications.
