We are pleased to announce our participation in Medi@terra 2006, whose theme this year is Gaming Realities: The Challenge of Digital Culture. The festival is dedicated to electronic, video and internet games and their creators, and includes an exhibition exploring the history of games from Atari to today’s virtual games such as Darwinia. Darwinia is produced by UK-based Introversion Software and will be presented at the exhibition. Tom Arundel, co-author of Darwinia, will take part in the Gaming Society and Game Industry conference session. Our second UK guest is Matt Adams, from Blast Theory, renowned internationally as one of the most adventurous artists’ groups using interactive media. Matt will participate in the Gaming Environments – Immersion in Game conference session. For further information, please visit www.mediaterra.org.
