THE MAGIC OF SCIENCE

Practical Physics Experiments Workshops

What do magic and science have in common? NOTHING … except for the fact that science can really be MAGICAL!

We are, therefore, delighted to invite you to The Magic of Science workshops we are organising. Our aim is to bring the miraculous world of science directly to you through a unique series of entertaining and educational demonstrations or 'tricks'.

Each demo is designed to be simple, entertaining, safe, and easy to perform. A range of core scientific principles is covered, although you don't need to be a specialist in any of these areas in order to perform the 'miracles'. All that's needed is lots of enthusiasm, common sense, and a helping hand from our trainers.

So join us at the NOESIS: Thessaloniki Museum of Technology in Thessaloniki and the Eugenides Foundation in Athens, to take part in one of the workshops and experience true scientific magic!

This training programme has been developed by the Science Communication Unit (Graphic Science) of the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK. The attached document gives an outline of some of the demonstrations, including full instructions, list of ingredients and explanations of how they work:
