It is beyond doubt that we are facing an energy crisis: the survival of our planet is threatened by climate change and the exhaustion of fossil fuels. We need to find immediate solutions that don't burden the environment but contribute to sustainable development – solutions such as the five renewable energy sources (solar, wind, water, geothermal and biomass).
Join us at the Energy 2007 International Exhibition, which aims to raise awareness of renewable sources of energy and features a series of talks by acclaimed Greek and international speakers.
We have invited renowned scientist Ian Fells CBE to give a lecture. Fells is Emeritus Professor of Energy Conversion at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, science adviser to the World Energy Council and has served as energy adviser to the European Union and European Parliament.
Under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Development and Greek Ministry for the Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works.
