CELEBRATING DARWIN'S LEGACY IN THE 21ST CENTURY

			Darwin Now Survey Take part in the international Darwin Now Online Survey and join thousands of people worldwide in an exploration of the attitudes and impact of evolutionary theory around the world. Over the coming months, this survey will create the largest data set ever gathered on the public's understanding of evolutionary theory.

Even 150 years since the publication of On the Origin of Species, Charles Darwin and evolutionary theory continue to inspire debate about science, religion and society.

We are delighted to invite you to our Darwin Now Exhibition, which explores the impact of Charles Darwin’s remarkable legacy in the 21st century.

Along with the exhibition, we are organising a series of lectures by acclaimed UK and Greek scientists, who will discuss Darwin and how he came up with his ground-breaking theory of evolution, as well as a number of educational workshops for schools and teachers.

The exhibition and wrap-around activities are being organised as part of our global initiative Darwin Now.

DARWIN NOW EXHIBITION
Our Darwin Now Exhibition takes a fresh look at how Darwin’s theory of evolution continues to influence biology and other branches of science, and provides an opportunity for people to explore some of the most fundamental of questions about the origin, nature and distribution of life.

DR ROBERT BLOOMFIELD LECTURE
BC-AD: BEFORE CHARLES AND AFTER DARWIN
Join us and our invited speaker Dr Robert Bloomfield, Head of Innovation at the Natural History Museum London, NESTA Fellow and the organiser of Darwin200, who spent three years retracing the voyages of James Cook on HMS Endeavour and Charles Darwin on HMS Beagle.

Even as Darwin was getting his first insights into evolution he was seeing a world already rapidly changing from the impact of European expansion. What did Darwin see and what are the lessons we can take from this as we look towards the future?
