DO YOU WANT TO GET 10:10?

We're taking part in the global 10:10 campaign to reduce our carbon emissions by 10%!

On 10/10/2010 activities designed to raise awareness of the need to reduce our energy footprint are taking place in 128 countries.

The international 10:10 campaign is a global movement aimed at encouraging young people, families, schools, businesses and individuals around the world to do something about climate change by making small changes to their daily habits so as to reduce their carbon emissions by 10% in 2010.

In Greece ActionAid, in collaboration with the Greek Climate Advocates and the British Council, are joining forces and invite you to the Green Design Festival to play the Want to get 10:10? game.

Whether you already know a lot about energy and energy-saving or lack knowledge and want to learn simple ways you can save energy at home and at school, join us! Come and play the game with our Climate Advocates and win 'energy' gifts!

At the end of games, ActionAid are organising a series of educational programmes for children and their parents. Together we will explore the global implications of climate change and the impact our personal habits have on the daily lives of people living in developing countries.

When:   Sunday 10 October 2010, 11 a.m. & 5 p.m.
Where: Syntagma Square, Athens
