The finalists chosen at the qualifying rounds that took place in Athens and Thessaloniki, equipped with new presentation and science communication skills gained at a Masterclass, will make a presentation of up to three minutes on a contemporary science topic of their choice and prove ... that science is truly magic!

The competition is taking place in 20 countries in 2012: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, UK and USA. In the US, was organised by NASA while the semi-final of the Swiss took place at CERN!
The Famelab Greece winner chosen at the final will win an all-expenses paid trip to the UK for the Cheltenham Science Festival between 12 and 17 June 2012, where he/she will compete in , together with the winners of the other Famelab competitions taking place around the world.
