FameLab Competition 2009 Grand Final – Thursday 14 May

Join us at this spectacular event and help decide the winner of the Audience Award by voting for your favourite 'FameLabber'!

THE FINALISTS
The ten finalists chosen at the qualifying rounds that took place in April in Athens and Thessaloniki, now equipped with new presentation and science communication skills from the two-day Masterclass they attended, will make three-minute presentations on a contemporary science topic and prove ... that science is truly magic!

THE PRIZES
The winner of the Grand Final will travel to the UK for the Cheltenham Science Festival in June 2009, where he/she will compete in FameLab International together with the other eight South East Europe winners.

The winner will also have the opportunity to take part in a series of networking events with other young science communicators in Europe.

But there'll be new opportunities for all the finalists – they'll all have the chance to take part in interactive workshops and a series of scientifique debates through a very lively and active science communication network that has been created.

FameLab is taking place in nine countries in South East Europe.
