THE FINALISTS
The seven finalists chosen at the qualifying rounds that took place in April in Athens and Thessaloniki, now equipped with new presentation and science communication skills from a two-day Masterclass, will make five-minute presentations on a contemporary science topic and prove ... that science is truly magic!

The members of the FameLab Jury that will choose this year's winner and give the contestants feedback are:

THE PRIZES
The winner of the Grand Final will travel to the UK for the Cheltenham Science Festival in June 2008, where he/she will compete in FameLab International together with the other eight South East Europe winners.

The winner will also have the opportunity to take part in a series of networking events with other young science communicators in Europe.

But there'll be new opportunities for all the finalists – they'll all have the chance to take part in interactive workshops and a series of scientifique debates through a very lively and active science communication network that has been created.

FameLab is taking place in nine countries in South East Europe.
