FOUNDATION FOR RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY HELLAS (FORTH)
A multidisciplinary research centre based on the island of Crete, with research institutes in Patras and Thessaloniki. Its institutes are closely linked to Greek Universities in the same location, but function as independent research bodies under the General Secretariat for Research and Technology.

INSTITUTE OF ASTRONOMY AND ASTROPHYSICS - NATIONAL OBSERVATORY OF ATHENS
