What is Road to IELTS Online?
Road to IELTS Online is a self-study IELTS preparation course produced by the British Council to help candidates prepare for the IELTS exam. After registering for the exam, you will have access to three units, each based on common IELTS topics and covering all four sections of the exam: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

The course allows you to:

practise IELTS listening tasks under timed conditions
watch videos of sample speaking tests, highlighting good and less good practice
develop vocabulary and techniques for writing tasks 1 and 2
work on authentic texts for the reading test as in the real exam
increase your vocabulary in topic areas commonly covered in the IELTS exam.

You benefit from:

Instant Feedback
You get instant feedback on your performance and can monitor your personal progress.
Understanding your mistakes
On completing a task, you see the correct answers and receive tips and hints to help you improve.
Increased Confidence
The exercises are based on real IELTS tasks so you become more familiar with the test and feel more confident.
