Where
The tests take place at a neutral venue (e.g. state schools, hotels).

* YLE tests are available on demand with a minimum of 30 candidates. Please contact us for further information.

Test fees
The test fee for all three levels (Starters, Movers and Flyers) will be confirmed.

Registration
Please follow the instructions below exactly to complete registration of your candidates successfully.

How to register

Pay the exam fee by direct deposit to the British Council account at Alpha Bank. You can do this at any Alpha Bank branch, via an ATM or via web banking through your own bank.

A full list of Alpha Bank branches, including branches operating in the afternoon and ATMs, can be found at www.alpha.gr.

Please quote the following in the ‘Αιτιολογία' field on the deposit slip:

  • the name of the school owner
  • the title of the test (YLE)
  • the month the test will take place (e.g. November).

To complete registration of your candidates, please submit the completed Block Entry Form along with the bank deposit slip to the British Council as follows:

  • Foreign Language Centres in Macedonia, Thrace and Thessaly should send the above documents by registered mail to our Thessaloniki office (see below for contact details).

  • Foreign Language Centres in Athens and all other province (including the islands) should send the above documents by registered mail or courier to our Athens office (see below for contact details).

Please note:

  • We cannot accept cheques, postal orders, cash sent by post, or payment of fees at our offices.

  • If you are a student at a Foreign Language Centre, your school will be responsible for your registration. If you are not sure whether you have been registered, please ask someone at your school to check.
