Six Voices, Six Women In October 2011, EUNIC Greece invited six female writers – Vanessa Gebbie (UK), Rea Galanaki (Greece), Marta Pessarodona (Spain), Dacia Maraini (Italy), Rina Katselli (Cyprus) and Annepe Mapson (Norway) – to write about their own experiences and ideas about the issue of gender equality through the unique perspective of a female writer. Our writers responded with six wonderful short stories to be included in a collection we are presenting for the first time in Greece as part of our EUNIC activities on International Women’s Day. Don’t miss the presentation of the collection of short stories by six European female writers entitled Six Voices, Six Women: Short Stories, which we are presenting as part of EUNIC Greece, in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Gender Equality, Greek Ministry of Interior, at a unique event where writers Vanessa Gebbie, Rea Galanaki, Marta Pessarodona and Annete Mapson will be our guests. The Chair of EUNIC Greece, Eusebi Ayensa Prat, Director of the Instituto Cervantes de Atenas and Maria Stratigaki, General Secretary for Gender Equality, will make opening remarks. The discussion will be facilitated by journalist Mary Adamopoulou. Simultaneous interpretation into Greek will be provided. Vanessa Gebbie
