Britannia Works
Our aim with Britannia Works was to introduce Athenians to the multicultural, multi-ethnic, perspectives of the UK art scene today.

Michael Nyman
Our first British guest in our Metropolis season is the composer Michael Nyman, who, to the accompaniment of live piano music, will present and discuss his views on urban living, illustrated by his photographs of the urban environment.

Draw the World Together at Comicdom Con Athens
We are collaborating in Comicdom Con Athens, which is taking place for the first time this year. The convention aims to present the latest international trends in the world of comics, and to engage the wider Greek public with one of the most interesting aspects of global popular culture.

Colin Renfrew in Athens
We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to attend a talk by leading British archaeologist Colin Renfrew entitled Looting the Past: from Desecrated Tombs to International Museums. Professor Renfrew has conducted numerous excavations in Greece and is currently Director of the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research at the University of Cambridge.

Our Onto the Streets exhibition showcases the work of an emergent generation of British photographers and captures the unique flux of people, matter and imagery that combine in the streets of London.

Organised in collaboration with Megaron Plus, our Great Brits exhibition showcases the new generation of talented young designers working in Britain. Each experiments with new materials and technologies and explores the transformative or alchemical possibilities of design.
