MICHAEL NYMAN

Our first British guest in our Metropolis season is the composer Michael Nyman, best known for his soundtracks for The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover, The Piano, and Gattaca.

Nyman is appearing in his lesser-known role of photographer. To the accompaniment of live piano music, he will present and discuss with the public his views on urban living, illustrated by his photographs of the urban environment from the numerous cities he has visited.

The talk will be in English with simultaneous translation into Greek.
