We are delighted to support the StoryDoc initiative once again this year, featuring a wide range of educational activities and workshops aimed at young filmmakers and other documentary professionals.
The main objective of the two training sessions in Corfu (July) and Athens (November) is to bring young filmmakers together with a group of experienced international tutors in order to develop a series of pre-selected creative projects, while creating a network of young documentary professionals from across the Mediterranean and Europe who will share views and exchange experiences, ideas and opportunities.
In this context we are happy to welcome an impressive line-up of UK and international tutors to Greece, and invite young professionals and students to apply for an observer’s place at any of the training sessions below.
The team of tutors will focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of the art of documentary-making and is comprised of: Emma Davie (UK), Peter Symes (UK), Mikael Opstrup(EDN/Denmark), Niels Pagh Andersen (Denmark), Likka Vehkalahti (Finland), Jordi Ambros (Spain), Louise Rosen (USA), Stan Neumann (France), Madeleine Avrammoussis (France), Sanna Salmenkallio (Finland), Kathrin Brinkmann (Germany), Rea Apostolides (Greece), Ann Julienne (France), Arrianna Meintana (Greece), Eva Stefani (Greece), Gena Theodosievska (Fyrom), Antoinette Spielmann(France), George Khleifi (Palestine) and Diana El Zeirudi (Syria).
