We are delighted to invite you to , the 2nd international performance art festival in Athens, where, for one week, artists and audiences alike will have the opportunity to explore one of the most vibrant art forms.
Following its launch in March 2007, the is being established as an annual event.
The marked interest in performance art, the arrival on the scene of up-and-coming young artists as well as the participation of established performance artists, the support of public and private institutions, along with media interest, have all combined to create a meeting point for performance art in Greece and internationally.
Taking the trend of remaking/revising art as its starting point, explores the meaning of the term 'postproduction' as suggested by French curator and art critic Nicolas Bourriaud. Bios will present live performances, screenings, tributes, educational programmes, lectures and open discussions.
