3 in 3: Short Story Competition

Title: Tales from the City, Stories from the Sea

Can you write a short story in 2,000 words?
Can you write it in 3 months?
If so, you could be one of the 3 winners!

AND THE WINNERS ARE ...

The judging panel – Christos Chomenidis, novelist, Paul Johnston, novelist, and Liana Sakeliou, academic and poet – has now completed its task of selecting the winners. There were 197 valid entries from all over Greece. Many of these were of a very high standard, thus making the selection process especially difficult.

Three young writers, Nikolaos Stathopoulos, Ioannis Palavos and Ekaterina Rousopoulou will have their story published in the Tales from the City, Stories from the Sea anthology to be published by Periplous Publications in May 2006. The British Council offers them a 5-day residential creative writing course at the Arvon Foundation in the UK.

Thirteen runners-up will also have their stories published in the Tales from the City, Stories from the Sea anthology (see above).
