The British Council showcased the best of UK short filmmaking at the 10th International Short Film Festival in Drama. We were delighted to present an exciting film programme which included: animation for children and adults, Free Cinema masterpieces, early films by famous directors and a selection of the best and latest of contemporary UK short films. We invited Susannah Gent, a leading British filmmaker, to conduct a workshop on directing, which was open to students, professionals, young filmmakers and film afficionados.
We held a unique event on the opening night of the festival, brought to Drama straight from East London by the acclaimed Audiovisual Lounge.
And last but not least, the winners of our 3 in 3 Digital Film Competition had their films screened during the festival as part of the official programme. The four winning films were also shown at the Trianon Filmcenter in Athens on 1 November 2004.
