Since 2000, pioneering DVD labels Addictive TV and Cinefeel have been running The Audiovisual Lounge – a series of successful nights in Shoreditch, East London. These nights are a 'cinematic drinking experience' where the screen rather than a sound system is the focus of the night; a mix of audiovisual performances, DJ:VJ sets and screenings, combining some of the most innovative music videos, animations and AV mixes from both accomplished and emerging talent.
The Audiovisual Lounge has travelled to Paris, Tokyo, Montreal and Glastonbury Festival. It has been critic’s choice in Time Out, The Guardian Guide, The Evening Standard and London’s Metro, and in France has had articles in the newspaper Liberation and magazines Trax, Coda and Etapes Graphiques.
