Documentary and Disability, 3nd International Festival For the third year in a row we are supporting the Emotion Pictures International Festival 'Documentary and Disability', which opens its doors to the public on 19 June 2009. More vibrant than ever, the festival continues to present a forceful alternative perspective on disability, an issue that concerns us all. Emotion Pictures, the first-ever International Documentary Film Festival on the theme of disability, aims to use documentary as a medium to bring to prominence the concerns of artists from all over the world on disability issues, and to encourage public debate using the common language of art as the starting point. Since last year's festival, Emotion Pictures has travelled throughout Greece and has worked with international festivals to be able to present to you a selection of the best films from all over the world. This year, the festival features more than 30 documentaries from every corner of the globe and will host filmmakers and distinguished personalities, creating the conditions for an open dialogue on diversity. We invite you to join us at this unique celebration of cinema and life!
